I can breathe again

I fully expected a guilty verdict, but surely that's because I didn't want to be too disappointed. If Michael were found guilty, years and years of my life would have been tainted. Now that he's officially innocent, the haters can shut their nasty mouths.

The most ridiculous thing about this trial for me was listening to so many people make the same old comments about Michael's appearance and plastic surgery. That highlights the ridiculousness of the whole thing. It's like people wanted him to be found guilty because his nose can be detached. Are you fucking kidding me? What's the issue here? We're talking about kids being molested, and all people can think about is Michael's face. As I watched the Jacksons enter the courtroom today, an intern from my office said, "All I want to know is, why did they do that to their faces?" I stayed quiet. Is that really all you want to know?

Needless to say I'm thrilled and relieved. I walked home singing and dancing with my iPod. The best part of the afternoon was watching Tom Sneddon's news conference. SO awkward! He pretty much had no comment on anything. I'm not surprised. I think I'll look up his email address and call him a loser right now.
